The Love Mask
Made it to use on a greeting card for show and tell in a card group.
Materials:
- 4x5 or smaller piece of white cardboard size of your stamp
- Versamark
- Ultrathick Black Embossing Powder
- Heat gun
- Plastic square container bigger than your card
- Stamp of your choice
- a standard envelope
- Perfect Pearls {Optional}
Procedure
- Take your piece of white cardboard, press the rough side into the versamark.
- Put your versamark away as you only use it once in the heat process.
- Put your embossing powder in your plastic container, about 1/4 full, dip your card into it, versamark side up.
- Cover completely.
- Now lay it on your standard envelope, powdered side up. Take your heat gun and melt the crystals.
- When you think it looks smooth, take the edge of the envelope, NOT THE CARD and use to slide your card in the crystals again. The enamel will burn you if you touch it, so be careful..and don't let children try this.
- Do the same thing one more time,WITHOUT the versamark.
- Now get your stamp out, this will not hurt your stamp.
- You're going to do the same thing the 3rd time, only after you melt it this time, press your stamp into hot enamel and let it cool about 5 minutes. Your impression will be in there and the enamel is hard now.
- You can leave the way it is or you can take out your Versamark once again, press your project in it, then take a Qtip and some Perfect Pearls and color your project.
- Try different stamps.
